Cover art & 3D art : Kristof Laroche / Bohu Tohu

Released in 2017, it is Chardeau's studio album that succeeded Fauves & Pastels ( 2014). Once again recorded across the Atlantic, Sanguines includes 12 tracks, a series of more “sociological” portraits than on the previous one. On the production side, the sound is more New Yorker, less Californian, with a "funky Zappa" touch for instructions. Served by an always exceptional line-up, the album brings together the US regulars of Chardeautitude and some surprises such as the presence of John McFee (Doobie Brothers) and Walfredo Reyes Jr (Chicago, Santana), as well as a duet with Jason Sheff (bassist and singer of the group Chicago from 1985 to 2016).
