RESILIENCE (2010)

A milestone on Chardeau’s path, Resilience is an autobiographical and strong album that brings a breath of fresh air after a down time (hence the title). It also asserts the "Americanization" of his music. The album was artistically produced by Jerry Goodman (the magical violinist of the Mahavishnu Orchestra of John McLaughlin) and recorded with a dream team. "My ideal setup" confesses Chardeau, moving away from the grandiloquent and progressive eclecticism of the previous album Hors Portée to focus on a more Rock-like and rich direction, carried by an extremely efficient production.
