Unclassifiable composer, Chardeau takes us on a fantastic journey with 24 stops. An eccentric and colourful musical odyssey created like a real movie soundtrack.

The album was released in 2012 in digital and double LP.

Initially, the aim was to highlight the potential of Chardeau’s music for associated visual imagery. We selected 24 instrumental tracks (original versions, alternative or unreleased, remastered or remixed) to discover not the artist but the composer, his cinematic writing, full of allusions and references, and his outstanding orchestrations. At first, the project was exclusively addressed to professionals, hence the title "For Sync. "(For synchronization). Caught at our own game, we spent time concocting the atmosphere, the different landscapes and music sequences.

At the finish, it is a real movie soundtrack (hence its subtitle), with a range of sounds, atmosphere and emotions that are dreamlike, whimsical and fantastic, alternately melancholic, colourful, melodious, quirky and poetic ... So, we ended up producing an album out of it, released in digital and double vinyl. Delve into the soundtrack of a movie that never existed! Close your eyes, imagine the pictures, the setting, the situations that the music could illustrate...
